There is a reason why some photographers hate winters… even though taking pictures of snow is a blissful experience. But with below zero temperatures and the wind blowing to make it even colder, there are only few things you can do..
Despite all these warnings, I ventured out with my friend to capture the annual lighting festival at Nubble Light- York Maine. It was 16 degrees and yet there were plenty of people to support this event. We had to walk a mile in the cold ( or wait forever for the shuttle ) from the parking spot.
And we finally arrived at the spot to see the beautiful light house glittering in the middle of the ocean.. the entire place was filled with people celebrating holidays, singing and kids playing with a live reindeer. All in all I felt it was worth it..
